In the early morning hours of New Year's Day 2021, a dispute that began with texted insults escalated into a tragic triple homicide in Olive Branch, Mississippi, claiming the life of 33-year-old Tyler Glen Liles. The violence also resulted in the deaths of Tommi Lynn Carrier, 40, and John Lennon Sutherland, 30. Liles, a U.S. National Guard veteran who had served a tour in Iraq, was remembered as an avid golfer and fisherman.
