A 34-year-old man, Christopher L. Smith of Holly Springs, Mississippi, was fatally shot on the night of Tuesday, June 16, 2020. The incident occurred at the Super 8 Motel located at 11064 Business Center Drive in Olive Branch. Olive Branch Police responded to a shots fired call at the motel shortly after 9 p.m. Upon their arrival, officers found Smith unresponsive with a gunshot wound. He died from his injuries.
