In a tragic turn of events that unfolded in Laurel, Mississippi, Karen Ann Thomas, a 67-year-old female, lost her life on Saturday, February 6, 2021. The circumstances of her death were part of a violent incident that also resulted in the death of her son.
Authorities from the Jones County Sheriff's Department were called to a residence to investigate the incident.
