Jamie Browning Iverson, a 67-year-old female, was working alone at Paul's Jewelry in Indianola, Mississippi, on the morning of April 23, 2021, a business she co-owned with her husband of nearly 43 years, Rodney Iverson. Shortly before 11 a.m., two men entered the store in what authorities believe was an attempted armed robbery. During the course of the crime, Jamie was shot. She was later pronounced dead after an attempt to transport her to a hospital.
