In the late spring of 2021, the life of 48-year-old Vidal Sullivan was cut short by gunfire in Jackson, Mississippi. On the evening of Sunday, May 30, 2021, officers from the Jackson Police Department were dispatched to the 3200 block of Bailey Avenue following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered a crime scene but were soon informed that a private vehicle had already transported a victim to a local hospital.

That victim was later identified as Vidal Sullivan. Tragic ...
