Jermaine Laville Summage, a 35-year-old male, was fatally shot on August 14, 2021, in Arcola, Mississippi. The incident occurred on Main Street, just outside a small local shop where Summage was sitting and socializing with others.
On that day, a maroon SUV came to an abrupt stop in front of the gathering. A man, later identified as 47-year-old Lonnell Moore, Sr. of Hollandale, exited the passenger side of the vehicle. Moore walked directly up to Summage and shot him at point-blank range.
