LaZarius Smith, a 16-year-old from Saucier, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on December 20, 2021. His death was the result of an execution-style murder, which shocked the local community and led to a significant investigation and subsequent legal proceedings. Smith was found dead near Highway 15 and Posey Bridge Road in Saucier, an area known for recreational shooting activities.
