In the late hours of a Thursday night in Okolona, Mississippi, a domestic disturbance call to 911 marked the beginning of a tragic end for Homer Rufus Porter Jr. The 33-year-old Black man was at his Corona Street home on March 31, 2022, when violence erupted.
