Seth Michael Shatley, a 22-year-old white male, passed away at his home in Okolona, Mississippi, on Sunday, March 2, 2025. Born in Columbia, Missouri, on March 7, 2002, he was known to his family as 'Big Mike.' A high school graduate, Shatley had also earned a certificate in welding and had attended college.
Prior to moving to Mississippi, he worked in the oil and gas industry as a Union Pipeline Teamster in Missouri.
More recently, he had attended the police academy and was serving as a police cadet in Okolona. He was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association. His death has been listed as a result of gun violence. At the time of this writing, no information regarding any arrests or suspects in connection with his death has been publicly released.
