On the night of March 27, 2026, the life of 56-year-old Donna Musgrove Holder was tragically cut short in her White Hall, Arkansas home. Her death, which marked the first homicide in Jefferson County for the year, prompted an immediate investigation by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
That Friday evening, at approximately 10:03 p.m., deputies responded to a call regarding a domestic disturbance at a residence on Sassafras Trail.
As they arrived, they were met by a man identified as Scottie Glover, also 56, who was exiting the home. In a stunning admission, Glover reportedly informed the deputies that he had shot his girlfriend, Donna Holder. The couple had been in a relationship for approximately fifteen years. Glover was promptly arrested at the scene without any resistance.
Upon entering the residence, authorities discovered Donna Holder's body. Her body was subsequently sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for an autopsy to formally determine the cause of death. Scottie Glover was taken into custody and booked at the W.C. "Dub" Brassell Adult Detention Center on felony probable cause related to the fatal shooting. Donna Gail Holder, born in Pine Bluff on April 2, 1969, was remembered as a dedicated and caring mother, daughter, and friend. She had a passion for riding motorcycles, a love she developed after her marriage to her late husband, Curtis Holder. A hardworking individual, she was employed as a pharmacy technician at Walgreens at the time of her passing. She was survived by her daughter, Ashten Holder, her mother, and her fiancé, among other family members.
