In the early hours of a Friday morning in McComb, Mississippi, the life of 17-year-old Dominic McCoy was tragically cut short. The young man, a student at McComb High School, was fatally shot just after midnight on July 15, 2022, at the corner of Burke and White streets. Police arriving at the scene discovered McCoy with a single gunshot wound to his chest, an injury from which he would not recover.
