LaCurtis Hackett, a 22-year-old resident of Summit, Mississippi, was tragically shot to death on August 19, 2022, in Bogue Chitto, Mississippi. Hackett was at a friend's home on Mill Creek Road, which also housed a music studio, when two assailants forcibly entered the residence by kicking in the door. The intruders, described as masked and armed men, fired multiple shots at Hackett, who was later pronounced dead at King’s Daughters Medical Center.
