Deputy Sheriff Donald William Durr, aged 36, tragically lost his life on May 27, 2017, in Bogue Chitto, Mississippi. He was responding to a domestic disturbance call at approximately 11:30 PM when he was fatally shot by a male suspect. Upon arriving at the scene, Deputy Durr was immediately confronted and shot by the suspect, who then proceeded to murder three females at the same location.
