In the pre-dawn hours of September 28, 2022, Daimian Keontae Britt, a 27-year-old male, was fatally shot in what law enforcement described as an ambush. The incident occurred at 5:59 a.m. in the parking lot of the Westwood Park apartment complex in Eupora, Mississippi. Britt had just left his girlfriend's apartment and was preparing to go to his job as a logger when he was shot multiple times.
