On April 24, 1981, the body of 21-year-old Marcia King, originally from Arkansas, was discovered along Greenlee Road, west of Troy, in Miami County, Ohio. Known as the "Buckskin Girl" due to the distinctive fringed buckskin poncho she wore, Marcia had been strangled and suffered blunt force trauma.
