In the quiet outskirts of Geary, Oklahoma, a dedicated public servant, City Marshal John Cross, a male, was going about his duties on a late evening. As the clock struck 11:30 p.m., he noticed three suspicious men camping near the edge of town and approached them to investigate. This routine check would tragically be his last.
