In the autumn of 1996, the life of a Tulsa, Oklahoma bar owner came to a tragic and violent end. Leslie Looper, a male, was leaving his own establishment on the evening of October 2, 1996, when he was confronted by an unknown individual. The assailant accosted Looper in his truck in what authorities believe was an attempted robbery.
During the course of the robbery, the situation escalated dramatically. The suspect, whose identity remains a mystery, stabbed Looper in the chest. The severe injury proved to be fatal. Four days after the attack, on October 6, 1996, Leslie Looper succumbed to his wounds.
