On October 2, 1996, Leslie Leroy Loper, aged 56, was tragically killed in front of his business, The Ole Memorial Lounge, located at 1133 S. Memorial Drive in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Around 1:30 a.m., Loper was observed sitting inside his vehicle outside the bar. A few minutes later, he stumbled back into the bar, asking for help. Loper had been stabbed multiple times while in his car, and he was rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and died on October 6, 1996.
