In the early morning hours of October 21, 2001, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, twenty-two-year-old Di'Andre Oran 'Dre' Blackwell was leaving the Good Fella's Club, located on East 2nd Street. As he made his way out of the establishment at approximately 1:53 a.m., a dispute erupted between other patrons of the club. The altercation quickly escalated, and shots were fired into the crowd.
