Do you know who murdered Jordan? On a Sunday evening in May, 13-year-old Jordan Dwayne Sigli was getting out of a vehicle to attend a birthday party at Tanzi Sports Bar in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It was May 20, 2012, a night that would end in tragedy. As Jordan stood outside the venue, a car drove by, and someone inside opened fire into the crowd gathered for the celebration. Jordan was struck by a bullet in the chest.
He was rushed to a hospital in a private vehicle and immediately underwent surgery for his life-threatening
injuries. Despite the efforts of medical staff, Jordan Sigli succumbed to his wounds and passed away. Born on February 6, 1999, the young male was a sixth-grader at Emerson Elementary School.
The Tulsa Police Department launched an investigation into the homicide. Witnesses described the suspect vehicle as a gold or tan 1990s model Ford Crown Victoria or Mercury Grand Marquis, which may have been missing the housing for its left turn signal. The case remains an unsolved crime. To date, no arrests have been made, and no suspects have been publicly identified in the shooting death of Jordan Sigli. The Tulsa Police Department continues to seek information from the public that could lead to a breakthrough in the case.
