On a summer evening in Seminole, Oklahoma, the life of Marvin Gene Williams, a 43-year-old male, was tragically cut short. On July 26, 2009, Williams, a dedicated deputy with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office, was engaged in the perilous duty of serving an arrest warrant. Alongside his partner, Deputy Robbie Whitebird, and an officer from the Seminole Nation Lighthorse Police Department, he approached a residence with the intention of upholding the law.
