Reserve Officer Robert A. Libke, a 41-year-old member of the Oregon City Police Department, tragically lost his life in the line of duty on November 4, 2013. The incident occurred when Officer Libke responded to a house fire on Linn Avenue in Oregon City around 1:00 pm on November 3, 2013. During this response, he sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
