Keondre Love, an 18-year-old male, was the victim of a fatal shooting in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Thursday, April 17, 2014. The incident occurred at the Apache Manor apartment complex located in the 2400 block of North Marion. Love was transported to a hospital after the shooting, where he was placed on life support. He succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on Saturday, April 19, 2014.
The investigation into the homicide led police to identify 20-year-old Deouijore Holley as a
suspect. On Monday, April 21, 2014, Holley, accompanied by his mother, surrendered to the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office. He was subsequently arrested on a first-degree murder complaint. Authorities stated that the shooting was not a random act of violence and that the individuals involved were acquainted with each other.
According to police, the shooting stemmed from an ongoing dispute. It is believed that an argument escalated, leading to the gunfire that resulted in Keondre Love's death. Investigators received information that a vehicle seen fleeing the scene was registered to a relative of Holley, which aided in his identification as the primary suspect. Holley was held at the Tulsa County Jail without bond following his arrest. He was formally charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm after a former felony conviction. In January 2016, Deouijore Holley pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of accessory to murder in connection with Keondre Love's death. As part of a plea agreement, he was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
