On a Saturday evening in September 2016, a sense of normalcy filled the E-Z Mart convenience store in Midwest City, Oklahoma. That peace was shattered when a young man entered the store with the intent to rob it, forever altering the course of several lives. Behind the counter was Salman Tahir, a 33-year-old man, diligently at work.
