In the spring of 2017, the life of Odean Johnson, a 21-year-old Black male from Tulsa, Oklahoma, was tragically cut short. On the morning of May 11, his body was discovered lying on the road at 1500 E. 60th Street. He had been fatally shot. The initial investigation by the Tulsa Police Department left the motive for the shooting unclear, though detectives considered the possibility of a dispute involving stolen property, money, drugs, or gang-related activities.
