Jaleel Mixon, a 22-year-old Black man, was tragically killed on January 11, 2018, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The incident, which marked the city's first homicide of the year, took place in the 5000 block of North Osage Drive. Mixon had been shot, but was able to speak with police officers before he succumbed to his injuries.
