On a cold December evening in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the lives of two men were tragically cut short in a brutal act of violence. Tom Lee, a 28-year-old Black man, and his friend, 25-year-old Don'Trae Mason, were fatally shot on December 7, 2018, in an apartment at the Wood Creek Apartments, located near 61st Street and Peoria Avenue. The discovery of their bodies by a friend who had come to check on them marked the beginning of a complex investigation into a chilling double homicide.
