In December of 2019, the life of James Gray, a 49-year-old male, was tragically cut short in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His body was discovered by a person walking their dog near a soccer field. An investigation revealed that he had been fatally shot in the head. This incident marked the 61st homicide in the city for that year.
Authorities quickly began to piece together the events leading to his death. Their investigation led them to two individuals, Randy Rowell, then 27, and Gina Hale, then 41.
According to police reports, Gray was last seen with Hale in his silver Honda. It was later determined that Hale had solicited Rowell's help in a plan to rob Gray and steal his vehicle.
Following the discovery of Gray's body, the two suspects were located in the victim's car. It was reported that after several requests from Hale, Rowell provided her with a gun, which she then used to shoot Gray. Both Rowell and Hale were subsequently arrested and faced charges of first-degree murder in connection with the death of James Gray. The arrests were made swiftly thanks to information provided by Gray's family and evidence gathered by detectives.
