In the early morning hours of November 8, 2021, a life was tragically cut short at a QuikTrip gas station in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Leng Vue, a 43-year-old male, was at the convenience store located at 21st Street and Memorial Drive when an altercation broke out around 3:30 AM. The dispute quickly escalated, resulting in gunfire. When police arrived at the scene, they found that Leng Vue had been shot.
The suspects involved in the confrontation fled immediately after the shooting.
Investigators with the Tulsa Police Department began to piece together the events of that morning. They were able to identify a person of interest in the case. This individual was brought in for questioning and was subsequently interviewed by detectives. However, following the interview, the person was released pending further investigation into the fatal shooting.
To date, no arrests have been made in connection with the death of Leng Vue, and the case officially remains under investigation. The community and his family have been left to grapple with the sudden and violent loss, still awaiting answers and the closure that justice might bring. His passing has left a significant void in the lives of his friends and family, who remember him as a beloved individual. A memorial service was held to honor his memory as the investigation into his untimely death continues.
