On the evening of March 21, 2019, a tragic event unfolded on a rural road in Canadian County, Oklahoma, ending the life of 28-year-old Paige Lane Gomer of Hinton. The young mother was a passenger in a vehicle traveling near Highway 37 and Karnes Road when shots were fired, fatally wounding her. Authorities were called to the scene between 7 and 8 p.m., where they found that Gomer had sustained a gunshot wound to the chest. She was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival. ...
