In the early morning hours of July 7, 2019, a tragic encounter in Stillwater, Oklahoma, claimed the life of 23-year-old Jared Lance Roybal of Tonkawa. Roybal, a male, was driving a van with his brother and a 16-year-old boy when they came across two vehicles stopped in the roadway on the east side of Stillwater. An argument was taking place between two individuals, and as Roybal's vehicle approached, one of the men involved in the dispute turned his attention to them.
