On January 26, 2025, at approximately 9:58 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers in Baltimore, Maryland, responded to a report of a shooting in the 3700 block of Edmondson Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered 19-year-old Lamel Oneal Edwards, a Black male, unresponsive and suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
