In the quiet city of Stillwater, Oklahoma, the life of 43-year-old Jerry Silas, a Black/African American male, was abruptly cut short in a tragic act of violence. On the evening of April 5, 2025, police responded to a call about an assault at an apartment complex on North Boomer Road. Inside one of the units, they discovered Silas with a single gunshot wound to the head. Emergency medical services were immediately dispatched, and he was rushed to Stillwater Medical Center.
