On the evening of March 29, 2020, in Oklahoma City, 39-year-old Louis Blake, a Black male, was found deceased inside a vehicle. The discovery was made in the 3300 block of Northeast 16th Street, near North Bryant Avenue, after police responded to a shooting report at approximately 8:20 p.m. It was apparent to the responding officers that Blake had been fatally shot.
The investigation into the death of Louis Blake was immediately classified as a homicide, marking the 13th such case in
Oklahoma City for that year. Despite the efforts of the Oklahoma City Police Department, the case has grown cold. To date, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and there have been no significant developments leading to the identification of any suspects.
