Gabriel Bravo Ruiz, born on January 16, 1994, in Los Angeles, California, had grown up in Oklahoma City. He was a graduate of Putnam City West High School, where he had been active in both football and wrestling. Remembered for his big smile and hardworking nature, Gabriel was a father to a young son and was described by loved ones as a beloved son, brother, and loyal friend. In his free time, he enjoyed skateboarding, roller skating, and fishing. His untimely death left a void in the lives of his family and friends, who mourned the loss of a man known for his funny personality and dedication to his family.
The investigation into Gabriel’s murder progressed swiftly. Within a week, law enforcement officials identified a suspect. On December 13, 2023, through the collaborative efforts of the Oklahoma City Police Department, Crime Stoppers, and the United States Marshals Service, 33-year-old Prime Brown was apprehended in connection with the homicide.
