In the summer of 2020, the life of Leroy White Jr., a 38-year-old Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Tulsa, Oklahoma. On June 13th, he was discovered deceased in a room at the OYO Hotel located near 3rd and Sheridan. The cause of his death was determined to be a gunshot wound to the chest, prompting the Tulsa Police Department to launch a homicide investigation into what was the city's 32nd homicide of the year.
