On April 17, 1981, 19-year-old Billy Dean Haley was found in the roadway at 1300 South Sheridan Road in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after being assaulted by a group of four to five unidentified individuals. Witnesses reported seeing the group attacking Haley. He was rushed to the hospital, where he remained for several days before succumbing to his injuries on April 22, 1981.
