In the summer of 2020, a graduate of Northwest Classen High School and an avid University of Oklahoma football fan, Blake Daniel Shahrestani, a 39-year-old White / Caucasian male, was tragically killed. His life was cut short on July 16, 2020, in a shooting incident that unfolded at his own home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, near Northeast 18th Street and Martin Luther King Avenue. The man responsible for his death was Damien Johnny Jacobs, who was 18 years old at the time.
