Amanda Thompson, a 32-year-old white female from Oklahoma City, spent the last night of September 2020 inside her apartment off Southwest 59th Street near South May Avenue, in a complex tucked into the busy sprawl of the city’s southwest side. It was late on Wednesday, September 30, when the quiet of the building gave way to the sudden violence that would end her life and ignite a sprawling homicide investigation.
