In the quiet, snow-covered landscape of Wagoner, Oklahoma, a grim discovery was made on Saturday, February 20, 2021. The body of a man, later identified as 61-year-old Jeff Derrick of Hulbert, was found in the Coal Creek Landing area. Derrick, a male, was pronounced dead at the scene after bystanders, who were out looking at the snow and ice, stumbled upon his body in a parking lot and alerted authorities.
