In the early evening of September 23, 2021, the life of 28-year-old Markeon Harley, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short at the Towne Square Apartments in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Responding to a call of shots fired around 5:00 p.m. near Apache and Peoria, police discovered Harley in a breezeway of one of the apartment buildings with a gunshot wound to his head. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
