In the early morning hours of October 7, 2022, a domestic dispute in a northwest Oklahoma City apartment culminated in the death of 24-year-old Brianne Nicole Torres. A white female, Torres was found by police inside an apartment at 8235 N. Rockwell Avenue, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound. The incident was recorded as the 61st homicide in Oklahoma City for that year.
