On a late spring morning in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of 31-year-old Bruce Jordan, a Black/African American man, was tragically cut short. On May 25, 2016, at approximately 11:20 a.m., Jordan was inside a vehicle in the 2400 block of North Sherman Boulevard when occupants of a passing vehicle opened fire. The gunshots struck Jordan, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Milwaukee Police Department immediately launched a homicide investigation into the brazen drive-by shooting.
