William Krueger, a 76-year-old male, and his wife, 71-year-old Karen Krueger, were discovered in their Hickory Trail home following a peculiar 911 call. The male caller did not give his name but suggested that help was needed at the residence.
Upon their arrival, law enforcement officers found the front door ajar and the smell of gunpowder lingering in the air.
Inside, they located William Krueger, who had sustained a single gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. His wife, Karen, was also found with a gunshot wound. She was transported to a nearby hospital but ultimately succumbed to her injuries.
