On a cold December evening in 2016, the life of 37-year-old Tyjuan T. Lee, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On December 20th, Lee fell victim to gun violence, a stark entry in the city's grim tally of homicides for the year. Remembered as a construction worker, he was also a father, leaving behind a son. Those who knew him described him as an amazing man and an even better father.
