In the early evening of May 3, 2018, the life of a 22-year-old Black / African American man, Semaj Hudson, was tragically cut short on the streets of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The fatal incident unfolded around 5:40 p.m. near the intersection of North 26th Street and West Auer Avenue, a neighborhood that would become the backdrop to a lingering mystery. On that Thursday, gunshots pierced the air, and when the chaos subsided, Hudson was found suffering from a gunshot wound.
