Dustin Congleton, aged 33, was found dead on October 2, 2018, in a townhouse in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The discovery was made by police officers who were conducting a welfare check after a neighbor reported concerns about not seeing one of the residents for several days. Upon arrival, officers found the doors barricaded with furniture, necessitating the use of a ladder provided by the Waukesha Fire Department to gain entry through a second-floor bedroom window.
