Dustin Congleton, aged 33, was found dead on October 2, 2018, in a townhouse in Waukesha, Wisconsin. discovered the bodies of two men. Dustin Congleton was found in the basement utility room, partially covered with a sheet and surrounded by a substantial amount of blood. The other man, identified as 54-year-old Alan Skarzynski, was found in an upstairs bedroom closet with a gunshot wound to his head. Skarzynski was holding a small silver handgun with his finger on the trigger.
The incident was classified as an apparent murder-suicide. Investigators found two. 22 caliber handguns and a hunting-style knife at the scene. While the exact relationship between Congleton and Skarzynski remains unclear, it was confirmed that they knew each other. Neighbors described Skarzynski as a friendly and easygoing handyman who lived alone.
