Vyshonn Avitia, an 18-year-old from Racine, Wisconsin, tragically lost his life on October 24, 2018. Vyshonn was fatally shot near the intersection of Prospect and State streets in Racine. On that fateful evening, Racine police responded to calls reporting gunshots in the area. Upon arrival, they discovered Vyshonn suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite their efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
