In the afternoon hours of October 9, 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace in Milwaukee's Sherman Park neighborhood, forever altering the lives of one family. Alisha Talanda Robinson, a 30-year-old Black / African American woman, was tragically killed in a triple shooting that unfolded near the intersection of 36th and Chambers. The incident, which occurred around 4:30 p.m., left two other individuals, a 23-year-old man and a 44-year-old man, with critical injuries.
While they survived the attack, Alisha was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Milwaukee Police Department quickly launched an investigation into the homicide, seeking to understand the motive and identify those responsible for the violence. Despite their efforts and pleas to the public for information, the circumstances leading up to the shooting remained unclear.
