In the late hours of a winter night in Milwaukee, the life of Zaire Evans, a 21-year-old Black / African American male, was tragically cut short. On February 21, 2022, at approximately 11:10 p.m., police responded to a call on the 700 block of S. 36th Street. There, they found Evans suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
