On February 21, 2022, at approximately 11:10 p.m., police responded to a call on the 700 block of S. 36th Street. There, they found Evans suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency services transported him to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival.
