In the quiet neighborhood of North Side, Spokane, a tragedy unfolded that left friends and family in shock. Rona Kreulen, a 70-year-old woman, lost her life on August 25, 2008, in what authorities would later describe as a murder-suicide. She and her husband, Ronald Kreulen, were discovered in their home at 7111 N. Drumheller St. by their high school-aged grandchild. Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
